What Is A Prov file?

-> Prov files were used by Nokia S40 Devices inorder to have an accesspoint with a proxy that can be use for several applications..

How to Use a Prov File?

-> Send it via bluetooth then
-> Go to menu > Settings > Configuration > Default Config > (name of the prov file)
-Set as Default
-Click Activate Def In all app
-access point in use: (access point name of the prov file)

Hindi na-e-edit ang proxy at port sa mga Nokia S40 units kaya kelangan ng provisioning file (prov file) na naglalaman ng proxy at port na nirerequire ng isang trick. Provided na ang prov file dito sa thread. Attach ko na sa baba ang mga working prov files for operamini sa ngayon.

Prov file instructions:

Download the prov file and extract the content using a pc or file extractor mobile application and send it to your S40 thru bluetooth (zip file kasi yan at dapat eh via bluetooth talaga). Ang i-bluetooth sa cp ay yung laman ng zip file. You will receive it as configuration settings. Then go to your phone menu>settings>configuration settings>then choose the prov name as default config. Sa prefered access point, choose Smart Internet or MyGlobeInet or depending on what network you use.

Other alternatives in managing prov files:

• Pag nasa phone mo yung prov file (.prov na ang file extension), i-bluetooth mo lang eto sa isang china phone or a sony ericsson phone tapos i-bluetooth ito pabalik sa phone mo. You will receive it as configuration settings. Save it and then punta sa SETTINGS> CONFIGURATIONS> ACTIVATE IT AS DEFAULT AND CHOOSE THE PROPER PREFERED ACCESS POINT.

• Pwede rin ipasa sa nokia S60. Mapupunta yun sa inbox nila. Do not open it kasi invalid file sya sa S60. Just highlight the message then press options then send thru bluetooth.

Hindi lahat ng numbers from 0 to 253 ay gagana. Pinost ko ito para huwag na kayo mag antay pa ng ipopost na ip. Wala kasi ako time magtest at saka S40 ang unit ko at bihira ako makahiram ng phone na na-e-edit ang proxy and port. Kayo na bahala magdiscover.
